Fran and Will's Wedding (3 Albion Place - Leeds)

After travelling to Scotland, London and more recently, Geneva to film weddings it was nice to actually get to film one in my home town of leeds. Fran and Will live in Chapel Allerton in Leeds which is only 5 mins from my mums house so felt very local. The wedding reception was held at city centre venue 3 Albion Place. It was a great wedding made even more special because Will is a huge Leeds United supporter (like myself!). You can see Will and Fran are very happy together however its wasnt written in the stars as Fran was a Manchester United fan, thankfully Will managed to get Fran to switch loyalties and become a Leeds Fan!

Continuing on tradition from our previous post we are now showing you the full edited main wedding movie as well as the highlights video so you get a better idea of what your final product will be like.

On this shoot their was myself and my sister Gemma working as camera operators. We used 3 cameras where possible (ceremony, speeches, first dance). We also used the glidetrack as well as radio mics, video lights etc....

Hope you enjoy watching the wedding videos and please leave your comments!

Warwick Castle Wedding Video highlights

Happy New Year! Hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas. Really Looking forward to a great 2012! We have some amazing weddings coming up, notably a trip to Geneva, Switzerland in March to film a wedding which we are really looking forward to.

Sorry I havn't blogged for a while, I have loads of new videos to put online but with the run up to Christmas being so busy we didn't get a chance to get them on. Today I have a great wedding to show you, its the wedding of Tansel and Shehla who get married in Warwick Castle and then a week later had there wedding evening party at the Jumeirah Hotel in Knightsbridge, London. My (female) assistant was particularly excited when she saw that the singer 'Lemar' was there as a guest, I managed to sneak in a quick shot of him into the highlights video so see if you can spot him!

Anyway, I hope you like it!

Alice in Wonderland Wedding (trailer)

We have a fantastic wedding video to show you today. This is the wedding trailer taken from Alex + Simon's 'Alice in Wonderland' themed wedding which took place on Simon's farm. They had a luxury Marquee setup in one of their fields, they also created a Maze made from Maise which lead the guests through from the car park to the Marquee. I loved this wedding! Alex had spent months planning all the details to go with the Alice in Wonderland theme, you could really see how much time and effort had been put into the wedding and despite a tiny bit of rain the day went perfectly.

We also go to shoot along side my good friend and photographer Cris Matthews. Cris is one of the best wedding photographers I know and his work is amazing please check out his website if you are looking for a wedding photographer. It really is a team effort when me and cris work together as we bounce ideas off each other (he's also very helpful when it comes to helping move the 6ft jib around the venue!)

This is the wedding video trailer, hope you enjoy it!

Wayne and Poonam Wedding Video Highlights

Hello all, Had a very busy May so not had chance to blog very much! We filmed 2 Indian Weddings, a Fairytale Wedding at Peckforton Castle as well as filming one of my good friends and amazing Wedding photographer 'Tobiah Tayo's' wedding.

Tobiah's wedding was great fun, a real family feel to the crew. The photographers on the day were the Lawson's, a husband and wife duo who are just as amazing at their photography as they are people, definately one of the best ive worked with and the nicest. Then in the evening another wedding photographer and good friend of mine as well as regular co-worker Cris Matthews set up a photo booth for the evening guests complete with fancy dress props. We are all part of a photographers network which was set up by the very talented Photojournalist wedding photographer Stewart Randall (who I also work with a lot!!)

If you ever need any recommendations for Wedding Photographers please, please ask me as I know quite a few!

Onto the obligatory Wedding Video part of my blog, here is a highlights video we actually completed quite a while ago but we had to update it with a few amends so we now have clearence to put it onto the site.

Wayne and Poonam live and work in Bahrain and travelled over for the wedding, they are such lovely people and I really enjoyed filming and editing their Wedding Video. We shot this wedding with 3 cameras, with my younger sister Gemma operating a second camera and the third camera was static.

Hope you enjoy the video and as always your comments are most welcome.

Hillbark Hotel, Wedding Video Highlights - Geoff & Louise

Happy midweek.....! Have a great new wedding video to show you all, definately one of my favourites to date. This is the wedding video highlights of Geoff & Louise Askins. The wedding took place at 'Hillbark Hotel' in the Wirral. This was a full day wedding starting with the Bride's Prep at Louise's parents house going right through to 10.30pm at the night...a long day but loved it! We were fortunate to be working with good friend and wedding photographer Cris Matthews. Cris is really passionate about his work and it definately shows, his off camera flash work is amazing so please take a look at his website if you are looking for a photographer for your wedding.

We had a bit of bad luck with the weather right at the moment we wanted to do the Bride and Groom Shots so we had to postpone them until after the dinner.....only thing was it was used it to our advantage and did a night time shoot, i had my light and Cris had his flash, this turned out to be a bit of good luck as the final result looked stunning, the night shots definately gave the video another edge...

anyway hope you enjoy watching the wedding video highlights!
