Hello all, I am delighted to say that I have been asked to teach a masterclass at the next swpp convention taking place in January 2011. I will be giving 3 1 hour masterclasses. The first class will be teaching photographers how to film a wedding using the DSLR canon camera's. I have been filming with these cameras since they first came out over 2 years ago. For those of you who dont know these camera's have revolutionised the film production industry.
Essentially they are high end Photo Camera's that have a video feature. The video however is amazing and looks almost identitcal to cinema quality film, so much in fact that they are now using these camera's on movies, drama's and top US tv shows such as 'House', seemlessly integrating the Canon footage with 35mm film.
They are harder to use than your conventional big wedding video camera's and you need to approach the wedding with more of a film shoot mindset and pre plan a lot of your shots.
As mentioned I have been filming wedding video and DVD with these cameras for over 2 years now so I know them inside/out and im ready to pass on my knowledge.
So my first class will be on how to film the wedding day, and the 2nd and 3rd class will be on editing a highlights video.
I have also been asked by top photography School Aspire Photography Training formally called 'Annabel Williams' to give a talk to aspiring photographers on how I set up in Business, my inspirations etc.... The talk will last just over an hour and will take place on Friday the 19th of November.
All the best
